The
Adelaide City Centre Report Card - 2005 highlights the many
developments - commercial and residential - in the city over
the past three years, as well as green star rated developments.
It focuses on those projects, initiatives
and other developments that are having, or will have, a significant
impact on the city's fabric and how we see, and live in the
city centre.
The Adelaide City Centre Report Card
map shows the wide range of developments that are improving
these facets of the city's life, for example it:
- shows new residential projects that
will contribute to the Adelaide City Council goal of increasing
the population of the city, including new social or affordable
housing developments. The explosion in housing for students
is clearly represented on the map
- highlights the projects, activities
and bui.ldings that are contributing to making Adelaide
a green city
- depicts some of the new initiatives
that are transforming the city, such as the new trams and
tram line extension, new University buildings and the North
Terrace redevelopment
- identifies those large commercial
developments that are increasing the amount of office accommodation
in the city.
